I am really excited to write tonight’s newsletter and I hope that excitement is conveyed through the words you are reading right now! I have been on the road for the past few weeks meeting with affiliates in person to discuss the opportunities we are going to be pursuing for the last quarter of this year and the first quarter of 2013. I have gotten to meet literally dozens of our affiliates face to face and it is that in person relationship that gives us the ability to discuss ideas freely, develop the best business deals, and build long lasting friendships.
Nothing makes me happier than writing giant checks to people who have become some of my best friends over the past 7 years of working together online. Helping affiliates constantly reinvent themselves is one of my biggest challenges, but I have always said that in every challenge lies opportunity. Bringing value to the affiliate space is one of the most rewarding pennants of my career online and I look forward to continue serving everyone of you individually in everything from paying you fast and on time to helping you develop Joint Venture relationships that will hyper focus your talents and combine your abilities with other talented referrals I can give you to take your revenue to the next level.

NEW TRACKING
One of the most important thing a CPA Network provides to Affiliates is reliable tracking. But how reliable are the networks you are really sending to? Many networks use the cheaper month to month services which track about as good as throwing darts at a dart board when it comes to tracking big campaigns and always have issues especially in the larger volumes. We switched to Cake because it was one of the most reliable and elaborate tracking systems we came across, especially for affiliates pushing big traffic.
Now what I have recently discovered is that not all networks on Cake are created equal. I come from the adult industry where we used programs like NATS and custom tracking platforms that were always server based, meaning when a sale showed up in the advertiser system, the sale showed up in the affiliate’s earnings. When I got into CPA advertising around 2009, I realized that most networks really preferred iFrame tracking. iFrame tracking has never been something I stood behind for many reasons we can discuss and debate amongst each other in the late hours of the night over Skype or AIM. The bottom line is, I wanted better for all of our affiliates.
That is why starting Monday (TODAY for many of you), we will now be going the extra mile and extra effort to ensure we have the absolute best tracking of any network out there by setting up all offers Server 2 Server tracking. This means that as soon as a sale shows in the advertiser’s side it will immediately post to your CPATank account, there is no room for error, you WILL see the difference. The best part is, you don’t have to do anything at all. We moved over all the largest campaigns to the new tracking method over the past few days and a few affiliates I got to move over from other networks swear to me they are getting at least 10-15% more sales on the same exact offers they were running on other Cake or Linktrust networks.
