Can you believe we are already through the first week of October? It seems like just yesterday I was helping our largest affiliates and advertisers plan out our budgets and goals for 2012.
As we are in the LAST QUARTER (WOW!) of 2012, it’s time to really recap what each of us have accomplished this year individually, where we are each at as far as our personal goals go, and what we can do to take accountability for our lives and actions to make sure we finish 2012 with a bang.
Luckily, it seems like most of the talk about the world ending in December of 2012 has blown over. If you still think that the world is going to end, you might as well just give up and go spend all your money now and live it up because you only have 2 months left (kidding of course).
The rest of us have to get back to work and start selling for 2013. Take a second right now. Are you better off than you were 12 months ago? Were you riding comfortably into 2012 but fell off because you didn’t reinvent yourself and your campaign died? Did you find the success you were looking for?
2012 was one of the biggest years we ever had as far as payouts to our affiliates, so we know many people reached their goals. We made a lot of great new friends and partnerships this year.
I have noticed one thing that all of our most successful affiliates have in common. It isn’t rocket science. You ready for the big secret??? The “secret” is; They communicate with us regularly.
2012 was really the year for CPATank to put our dream team together. John has been doing a great job running the network as many of you may have noticed. Samantha and Jay West have been dominating Skype, AIM, Facebook Groups, Forums and your Inbox doing everything they have to do to keep you in the mix. As a team, We have worked together to deliver more new offers added in more niches at higher payouts than ever before. Over 1000 offers, every single one with the highest payouts on oDigger and OfferVault. Jay and Sam stalk these sites regularly and raise the payouts SEVEN days a week making sure we are the highest. If you see a single offer that isn’t at the absolute highest payout advertised anywhere, Email John or myself RIGHT AWAY and help us stay on top of having the highest payouts, for you and all Tankers. I’m in this to see you make money at this point, and I don’t care how slim the margins we have to run on are. It isn’t just about payouts, and we all know that. EPC’s are what keep affiliates with CPATank. We know that affiliates aren’t stupid, the smart ones split test. We win over 9 out of 10 affiliates who split test one campaign with CPATank. Split test with us, check the EPCs. We publish network wide average weekly EPC’s right on our Top List: http://CPATankOffers.com — if you’re not hitting the published EPCs, COMMUNICATE with your AM and let them know what you are doing, they can usually guide you what Landing Pages to add or changes to make to your campaigns more profitable. Your EPC’s should be in line or HIGHER than the EPC’s published on our Top List. If not, it is because you are not communicating with us enough.
That brings us back to communication. Communicate with our team about the payouts you need. Communicate with our team about what offers you need or are running elsewhere, we can get them. Trust me, there is no advertiser that we can’t get. Advertisers are lined up dying to give their direct deals to CPATank. If we don’t have a Publisher relationship to run them, we don’t waste their time or ours by adding it. So if you aren’t communicating with us, we don’t know we need to!!! COMMUNICATE! Let us know your needs. We are here to serve you.
Also, stay in touch with your AM’s at least 3-4 times per week. Jay and Sam both pride themselves in being the most available Affiliate Managers in the industry. They are online at least 12 hours a day each. If you can’t reach them, you aren’t trying. They know the trends, the know what is converting. The only reason you don’t know, is because you haven’t’ asked.
Let’s make the rest of the year count. You have one quarter left to pick up the slack from the summer. If you are on par with your goals, you haven’t set them high enough. Raise the bar, let’s get serious about this last quarter. John and I have closed millions of dollars in budgets with direct advertisers for you to promote at the highest payouts. If you haven’t reached your goals, there is no excuse. Affiliate Marketing has always gone up and down. It’s always been alive for the innovative and dead for the close minded. Nothing has truly changed about Affiliate Marketing in a decade. A lot of networks have gone out of business. CPATank hasn’t. We have still never had a single unpaid weekly or biweekly payment since we started in 2009.
